VirtualTriage is an innovative tool which offers an effective and validated training method for the classification of injuries in multiple-victim situations.

What is VirtualTriage?

VirtualTriage is a training triage software based on triage methods for multiple-victim situations. It is used to classify and sort victims according to care priorities, depending on the seriousness of their injuries and their chances of survival based on treatment needs and available resources.

What is it for?

It is aimed at all personnel who may be called to an emergency situation, such as firefighters, doctors, A&E personnel, nurses, police officers, the armed forces, etc. It is an educational and continuous professional training triage tool which has been adapted to our emergency services, and to different triage methods and profiles.

Is it approved?

The following Organizations have officially approved our Triage training system as equally or more effective as a face-to-face training class: Spanish Pre-hospital and Hospital Triage board (CEPTH), the Research Unit of the University of Oviedo (Spain), and the Basque Health Service (Osakidetza).
